Facilities

Based at Cotton of Pitkennedy by Forfar, RMEC has a large workshop, an internal storage facility – client dedicated, a large concrete based storage yard, a secure internal hydraulic store and office premises.

All internal work e.g. maintenance, repair, refurbishment etc is conducted within our modern, custom-built workshop area.

High pressure testing is carried out in a specialised under-floor high pressure test unit with remote-controlled cameras, calibrated chart recorder and BOP controls for the secure testing of all pressure control equipment and hydraulic hoses.

The workshop is equipped with an overhead gantry crane that has a 10-ton capacity. RMEC also has forklift capability for 16-ton lifts.

There is a 2.4mtr high galvanised, mild steel perimeter security fence to complement the security gates, security cameras and lighting which are already in place and that cover all storage areas.

We have unlimited storage potential, both internally and externally.

In addition to the original workshop offices, RMEC has recently completed a secondary Test Bay installation.
